Vandalism and graffiti can range from relatively minor pranks to malicious destruction of property, and it can be very upsetting and overwhelming Often simple acts of vandalism, like breaking a window, can cause significant water and mold damage if not addressed in a timely manner. Dry ice blasting is a specialized form of cleaning, where dry ice, the solid form of carbon dioxide, is pushed through a pressurized air stream in order to help clean surfaces. This can be done along with media blasting which uses an abrasive material to take off paint. We also have a system where we apply our graffiti remover product and power wash it off. Here at SERVPRO of Des Moines SW and East, we have the capability to help with this property damage. We can do a board-up which is done after a storm, fire or vandalism incident where the building is exposed. This can prevent further damage from happening to the facility.
